Working Student Desktop Support – part-time (m/f/d)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Working Student Desktop Support will provide support to our offices in Germany, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong. This role will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to internal customers. Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware including but not limited to laptops, IP phones and peripherals
  • Resolve internal customer technology incidents and requests in a timely manner
  • Document and clearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly professional way
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software packages, operating systems
  • Record, track and maintain equipment inventory
  • Work as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Studying towards a Bachelor in Information Technology / Computer Science or similar
  • First experience in a Desktop Support role including troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to laptops and printers (including Apple products)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Applications
  • Experience imaging and configuring laptops
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
  • Very strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Fluent in German and English
